15 days later - we have a stunning new bathroom with a fantastic thermostatic shower to make Mike's life easier at 6 in the morning, no taps for the girls to hit their heads on at bath time and loads of room for 2 very splashy little girls. We also have some lovely new bath toys - thank you Auntie Michelle, Ian, Uncle Jonathan and Auntie Jo, so bath time is now proving to be one of our favourite times of the day - even in this horrible cold weather!!

Bathrooms
Well 3 days into the new year and chaos has arrived in the house in the form of our plumbers. We are having our bathroom ripped out and a lovely new one put in, which will hopefully make it easier for us all to get in the bathroom and for lots of splashing fun at bath time!!
Christmas and New Year
Well we had a lovely Christmas. It started the weekend before Christmas with a trip across to Berkshire and delivering presents to the McGoverns - we managed to pop into Granny Mary's, Auntie Kate's for a lovely Sunday roast and a quick show and singsong, then across to Auntie Noelle's for coffee and biscuits and a play with the guinea pigs and finally to Grandma and Grandad's for tea before heading home. We felt very festive delivering all of our presents - lots of fun!!
Then on Christmas Eve we headed up North to Nana and Grandpa's. After a spot of baking we settled down for a relaxing Christmas evening before hanging our stockings and putting out carrots, mince pies and port for Santa and Rudolph. Christmas Day was lots of fun and we opened lots and lots of presents. Eleanor enjoyed playing Santa and handing out presents (as well as opening them!!) and Matilda largely enjoyed playing with the paper and anything else that she shouldn't be playing with!! We had a lovely Christmas dinner and ate far, far too much, ending the day with lots of festive cheer, ready to do it all again the next day with Auntie Jo, Uncle Jonathan and Manina!!!
We also did our first Christmas pant this year - Mother Goose at the Stag in Sevenoaks. It was really good fun and Eleanor got a little upset that she was not allowed on to the stage to join in as well!! But, we did enjoy yelling "he's behind you!!" so that made up for it and Matilda fell asleep before the end as it was that tiring!!
Finally, we ended the Christmas season by celebrating New Years Eve with Nav, Lynn and Christian. We all headed over to their house for dinner and drinks, Matilda fell asleep by 7.30 and Eleanor and Christian enjoyed watching movies in the lounge, whilst the grown ups ate too much food and drank too much wine!! Unfortunately Christian fell asleep at 10 to 12, but Eleanor made it to midnight and then promptly fell asleep in her mummy's arms!! It was a lovely, relaxing way to bring in the New Year and lots of fun was had by all!!

Quick catch up!!
Sunday 27th November 2011
Okay - just to update. Life is a bit different since we were last blogging. We are now living in Sevenoaks in Kent and we are now 4.
2011 has been a busy year - Matilda arrived in January and Eleanor started preschool in March. Initially, she was just doing 2 afternoons, but we are now doing 5 mornings a week, in preparation for big school next September. We are in the process of doing school applications at the minute, so we will keep you updated on that one!!
Matilda is now busy crawling (mainly commando style like her big sis) and is getting into everything!! She is very cheeky, very smily and very quick!!! She is also not a big fan of her own bed and likes to spend most of the night trying to get into mummy's bed!!
We are busy preparing for a fun Christmas, after last years flu filled disaster and then 2 birthday parties in 6 days in the New Year - so lots of blogs should be posted over the coming few months!!
